1.Product Introduction of the Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0)
Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0), Our model ACA-AA3 is aluminum chelate with acetylacetone as chelating agent. It is a high efficient crosslink agent for many coatings and inks.
2.Product Parameter (Specification) of the Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0)
Index | Value |
Molecular Weight | 324.31 |
Appearance | White crystalline powder |
Purity, % | > 99.9 |
Aluminum Content, % | 8.3 |
Melt Point, ℃ | 192.5 |
Ferric Ion, ppm | ≤ 20 |
Solubility | Soluble in benzene, toluene, xylol and methanol, insoluble in water but react with it. |
3.Application of theAluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0):
This product can be used as an adhesion promoter, cross-linker and hardener for epoxy, acrylic, phenolic, and silicone resins. It reacts with functional groups such as -OH or -COOH groups of polymers, mineral substrate or metals effecting coating, adhesion promotion or cross-linking of polymers.
However it is frequently used for cross-linking in nonaqueous systems, catalysis, and surface modification. Compared to its counterpart, titanium acetylacetonate, it has better thermal stability and is not easy to discoloration.
When it is used in coatings and inks the below effects could be achieved: crosslinking the binders giving faster drying, solvent resistance, heat resistance and improved adhesion to substrates (such as aluminum, polyolefins films), binder component for high temperature paints.
4.Packing Details of the Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0)
The regular packing of Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0)is 25kg pail, 200L drums and 1000L immediate bulk container.
5.Storage and Shelf Life of Aluminum acetylacetonate(CAS:13963-57-0):
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.
If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
