Antioxidant CAPOX 245(CAS:36443-68-2), Our model CAPOX245, named as Triethylene glycol bis(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)propionate,is mainly used used as process and long time stabilizer for styrene polymer like HIPS, ABS, MBS, and engineering thermoplastics like POM and PA, while it also serves as end stopper of chain in PVC polymerization.

3.Application of the Antioxidant CAPOX 245(CAS:36443-68-2)

CAPOX 245 is a kind of high effective asymmetric phenolic antioxidant, and its special features involves high efficient antioxidation, low Volatility, resistance to oxidation coloring, significant synergistic effect with assistant antioxidant (such as monothioester and phosphate ester), and giving products good weathering resistance when used with light stabilizers. It is mainly used as process and long time stabilizer for styrene polymer like HIPS, ABS, MBS, and engineering thermoplastics like POM and PA, while it also serves as end stopper of chain in PVC polymerization. In addition, the product has no effect on polymer reactions. When used for HIPS and PVC, it can be added into monomers before polymerization.

Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. This product has a shelf life of at least 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container at room temperature.  

If this product is kept beyond the shelf life recommend on the product label, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control should be performed on the properties relevant to the application.
